In 1813, Fort Meigs became the focal point of the War of 1812. Here, the British suffered their first setback of the Northwest Campaign when a detachment of American troops stood against the combined forces of British and Canadian soldiers and Tecumseh's warriors.They had a lot of re-enactors there this weekend, so we thought it would be a good time to go check it out. :)
