Halloween Eve

When Lizzie's school Halloween carnival was cancelled due to weather, we decided to have our own Halloween party. Dad put up a tent in the living room, and we watched Hotel Transylvania.

 And what Halloween slumber party would be complete without spooky Halloween pajamas?

Tonight was our ward Halloween party, so the kids were excited to get to model their Halloween costumes one week early:

Street Gutter Regatta

We're getting a lot of (much-needed) rain this weekend because of Hurricane Patricia. Dad and the girls decided to make the most of it, so they built their own boats and raced them in the gutter.

Owen thought pumpkin carving was pretty funny.

But then Owen was startled when Dad brought the gooey pumpkin a little too close.

They had a few animals (donkey, goats, goose)...

...a wagon ride...

...and a pumpkin hunt. (There were a bunch of mini pumpkins scattered around the Christmas tree farm. Kinda like an Easter egg hunt.)

I've gotta say... Ohio has better pumpkin patches than Texas. But we have our pumpkin! Jack-o-lantern pictures to come soon. :)
