Our Week (06/21 - 06/27)

Father's Day breakfast for Dad (We tried out a new recipe that Dad found online.)

Pictures of Heidi's "lesion" (on the bridge of her nose, in between her eyes). The imaging was good, so we have the green light to do a 15-minute outpatient surgery. It's not a big deal, but it could grow or get infected, so we were told that it's best to remove it. She'll just have a 1/2 cm scar there. The governor rolled back elective surgeries this week though, so it may be a while till it happens.

Scott took the kids to Lake Georgetown one afternoon so that Emily could get some grading done. (Emma was napping.)

Our Week (06/14 - 06/20)

A couple more geocaching pics. We hit our 60th geocache this week:

 ...And we won third place and got a prize!

Scott and the kids spend a lot of time watering the new grass these days. (Can't wait to see the water bill for the month.)

Bull Creek

 After our hike we grabbed two nearby geocaches:

It's hard to see, but the geocache was disguised as a rock, and the kids found a toy rat inside. 

They were really excited to try and scare Dad with it.

Emma Long Metro Park / Turkey Creek

We hiked this trail around Thanksgiving, but the kids have been wanting to go back.

We found more of these itty-bitty frogs.

Emma loved splashing in the creek, and got mad when I tried to pull her away.

One of the cooler geocaches we've found recently:

It's a magnetic, hollowed-out screw. It was stuck to the underside of that metal box in the background. You twist the top off, and inside is a tiny log that you can sign to prove you found it.

Hutto Lake Park Loop

After our hike we grabbed a quick geocache at this baseball diamond.

Copperfield Nature Trail

One of the highlights for the kids was swinging on vines.

Emma just likes picking up rocks, sticks, and flowers.

Our Week (05/31 - 06/06)

William "graduated" from preschool.

Emma and William have been doing a virtual summer enrichment program through MCC:

Heidi had a CT scan this week. She has a small cyst on her nose and will need a minor outpatient surgery to have it removed.

Most of us have had an allergic reaction to the laundry detergent. 

(Lots of antihistamine cream and Zyrtec/Benadryl to deal with the itchiness.)

Grandma and Steven came for a visit, so Scott and the kids took them on a road trip to the Hill Country (Johnson City, Fredericksburg, and San Antonio). Here are a few pics Scott took in Johnson City:
