We have the master bathroom sealed off, like something out of E.T.
It seeped into our walk-in-closet too.
We had to cut out dry wall and insulation, remove carpet from the closets, and tear out the entire bathroom vanity. I think the contractor said there is still some more tear-out to be done. Now that the neighbor's leak is repaired, we just have to wait for everything to dry out. We currently have 3 air movers, 1 giant dehumidifier, and 1 giant air purifier running. Consequently the master bedroom is loud and hot, so we've been sleeping in the living room for the last week and a half--that, and all of the displaced stuff from the bathroom and closets is covering nearly ever spare inch of the bedroom, so the bed isn't very accessible anyway.
Lizzie was 1 of 12 kids from her school that was selected to advance to the regional science fair. The regional science fair included more than 1,500 kids from 20 public school districts, plus charter schools, private schools, and home school in Central Texas. As a third grader, she was one of the youngest kids there.

Everyone got a participation ribbon and certificate, and all entries were awarded either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place (based on a rubric). Lizzie's blue 1st place ribbon should arrive sometime before Spring Break.
It's hard to believe this little cutie has been around for 4 whole months!
Emma is a a happy baby and a good sleeper (usually only waking once a night so long as I swaddle her in her crib). She recently started using the Bumbo chair and an exersaucer--although she usually doesn't sit in either for very long. She naps in her bouncer or car seat, but when she's awake she prefers to be held. She recently started "talking" and grabbing at things. She smiles a lot, and she laughs when tickled.
Valentine's Day lunch... Owen told me repeatedly, "You're my valentine, Mom."

Now that Lizzie goes to school with the older kids (she's at the 3-5 campus now), she's become more style conscious. She picked out this denim jacket and some skinny jeans (not pictured) all by herself.
3rd Grade music program
Lizzie with her friend Jayla (and little brother Jackson). They were in the same 1st grade class, and now 3rd grade. We've had a birthday party and park play date with their family and really like them.
