Back to School

We are excited that both Lizzie and Heidi have one or more close friends in their class, and Owen got Heidi's kinder teacher, whom we already know and love! Lots to be grateful for... We are looking forward to the new school year.

We spread the celebration out over 3 days. On Saturday Liz invited a friend from school to Mt. Playmore...

Sunday Liz had a special birthday dinner (she chose pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls), and then Monday we had cake and ice cream and opened presents:

While Scott was at work on Monday, the rest of us hiked Mount Bonnell:

Fun Fact: Not only did Owen fall in the pond, he also got too close to one of the peacocks and got pecked on the head. We had to leave abruptly so that Grandma Becca could patch him up. (Lucky she's a nurse!)
