 Mother's Day picture:

We sent everyone an invitation, but in case you didn't get it, it's scheduled for Friday, June 4 at 7:00 pm in Mesa:
Spring debate:

Last game of the volleyball season (our record was 4 wins/3 losses, and we tied for 2nd place in the tournament):

Our May the 4th Star Wars dinner (Han burgers and Darth Vader dogs with Palpatine's pizza, Vader-ade, Yoda Soda, and more):
At Play for All Park:
Mother-daughter date for a vegan milkshake:

Lunch playdate with friends:

At a stake Cinco De Mayo party for Young Women's (Liz took her friend Ellie, and Heidi tagged along when we went to pick them up after):

Swimming with friends:

We found a lost dog (Lady) and fostered her for about 24 hours until we located the owner:
Here's a picture of Owen's 2nd grade teacher. One weird thing about COVID is that she's been his teacher for 9 months now, and we've never seen her before. This picture was posted to the school's Facebook page for Teacher Appreciation Week. We're really involved parents, and normally Emily is on campus several times a week, so this year was definitely different! Mrs. Wooten's the one on the right:

Our Week (04/25 - 05/01)

It rained a lot this week, so Scott and the kids had a raingutter regatta (with Rose):

Liz harvesting her spring garden. Our first crop was kind of a dud, so we're going to give it a second try this summer:
(The one exception was these crazy black mushrooms of death!)
The radish harvest:
Scott and Emily have enjoyed going on Friday-night dates for the past month and leaving Liz in charge (after the kids are in bed):
Emma loves "fingers" (black olives):
A play date with friends Ethan and Millie:

Another stake service project. We collected underwear, socks, and OTC medicine for asylum seekers at the Texas-Mexico border, which a local nonprofit delivered to McAllen and Brownsville this week:

At the park:
This week's theme for preschool was bugs and springtime (can you see the butterfly?):
