Working on the backyard
Chalk art
Working from home / distance learning
Emily working on grading / editing (I think William took this one when I wasn't paying attention)
William doing his home preschool
One of William's birthday presents last week was this Hulk costume
The kids climbed trees while Scott did some yard work
Check out that dimple!
Scott snapped this pic because she looked like a little monkey with her mouth stuffed full of banana.

Brushy Creek Trail (Round Rock / Cedar Park)

A lot of trails are shut down for Easter weekend, but we finally found one!

He snuck his stuffed dragon on the hike.

They stopped to look at a caterpillar. This is a frequent occurrence on our hikes.

Old Settlers Lake Trail (Round Rock)

She was mimicking the duck, lol.
I thought this tree was cool.

Caution: No Swimming. Loch Ness MONSTER

If you look closely, there's a bunch of snails on that wall. The funny thing about hiking with these boys is that they go around assigning all of the bugs that they see a number, like "Buggy Number 78." William calls them his "bug team."
We did a circle around the entire lake!

You guessed it... Even MORE of Gilleland Creek

I think we're done exploring Gilleland Creek. We've followed the trail along creek for a total of 4 miles and seen about everything there is to see:

And MORE of Gilleland Creek

Gilleland Creek runs through our neighborhood and goes on for miles. We've been trying to explore the whole length of it:

More of Gilleland Creek

My favorite part about this picture is Owen in the background.

Isn't this tree wild? Check out those roots!

Our Week (03/29 - 04/04)

Working in the backyard
We thought it was funny to see her fully belly sticking out after dinner.
A Zoom meeting with her school class

This is what it looks like when Mom and Dad work from home, and the three older kids do distance learning from home. (Lizzie was upstairs working on the desktop computer.)
...And William is doing preschool from home.
Happy 4th Birthday! (Heidi made the cupcakes... And left out the oil.)
Liz made this list of pranks for April Fools. She got up extra early and was excited to trick everyone.

Geocaching

If you've never tried it before, it's pretty fun! Liz found an eraser, Heidi found a hot bean, and Owen found a ring.
