Grandin Press

Grandpa took the girls on a fun outing today. These are my two favorite pictures--the first one for obvious reasons, and the second one because I think it's hilarious:

Crocodile Tears

Grandpa took this picture of Mom giving Owen a haircut the other week. Poor little guy:

Future Hunter

Because food tastes better when you kill it yourself... Cheez-Its are no exception. :)
(As if that weren't manly enough, he also grunts a lot at mealtime.)

Grandma's Nail Salon

Upper Body Strength

This guy loves to pull himself up on furniture. In this picture you can almost see the bruises on his forehead. (He falls a lot.) You can also see his new haircut and his two bottom teeth. (He's got one more tooth up top and another one about to break through.)

Good Imagination

Lizzie made a playground out of blocks: bridge, slide, seesaw, monkeybars, and pool.
(Can you say "cabin fever"? She is also really excited to go camping with Daddy.)

Sick

Lizzie threw up at church yesterday. (Not sure if it was a stomach bug or an allergic reaction to something she ate.) Grandma gave her a bowl in case she needed to throw up again, but Liz decided it would make a good hat instead:

Conversation with Lizzie

This morning on the way  to church, I sat in the back seat with Lizzie. Our conversation went like this:

Liz: Aunt Kristi loves Uncle Jason. [We've been talking a lot about Aunt Kristi and Uncle Jason lately because of Jason's birthday last week.]

Emily: Yes, she does.

Liz: Uncle Jason is Kristi's dad.

Emily: Nope, Uncle Jason is Kristi's husband--just like Daddy is my husband.

Liz: Oh. Then Michael is my husband.

Emily: Nope, Michael is your cousin. You haven't met your husband yet. You won't have a husband till after school and maybe a  mission.

Liz: Oh. And we'll get married in the temple.

Emily: Yep, that's right.

Look Who's Crawling Now...

Disclaimer: The first 45 seconds is mostly of Heidi whining. (In her defense, she isn't feeling well today and was pretty much delirious.)

New Years Baby

This little guy cut his first tooth on New Years' Day (which, coincidentally, is the six year anniversary of the day Daddy proposed to Mommy).
