Our Week (11/24 - 11/30)

Emma's first time wearing shoes
We went hiking at Turkey Creek:

The kids loved throwing rocks in the creek

Owen gave me this heart-shaped rock
The kids also spent the hike looking for the perfect hiking stick
Fall leaves
I thought it was cute that they held hands
Fried turkey #7:
Heidi was really excited to help Dad. Liz said it was animal cruelty and didn't want to have anything to do with it. Lol.
Before
After

We thought it was hilarious that Emma fell asleep while standing up in her crib
At the Chuy's Children Giving to Children Parade in Downtown Austin
Mom's favorite part were the Star Wars cosplay-ers

William liked the dragon dancers

One of the dragons got a little too close and spooked him, lol.

Owen's favorite part was high fiving Pikachu (he's a big Pokemon fan right now)
Heidi liked the Mexican folklore dancers

At the end everyone donated toys to the Blue Santa program
(The police give the toys to low-income kids in the community)
Voodoo Donuts!

The girls also helped Dad build some shelf storage in the garage.
And Heidi made candles for a school project...
...And fed Rose's pet rat, Buttercup, while their family was out of town for 4 days.
