Our Week (May 20-26)

Last preschool of the school year (except for a field trip next Wednesday):

Lizzie's project fair. She picked a topic to research (India), and created the poster and PowerPoint presentation independently. She also gave a short oral presentation on what she learned:

At the Pflugerville Public Works open house:

After letting the kids climb on the tractor and honk the horn, this Public Works employee gave us a really informative tour of the water treatment plant. The Public Works director also gave us a tour of their brand-new office building, and the kids got water conservation goodie bags to take home.

Lunch with Sarah at Bill Gray's in Penfield

With Heidi's brother Lyle and wife Marcia at the Palmyra Cemetery (visiting Heidi's grave site)

He got to drive a Lotus after the luncheon. It belongs to Becca's sister:

Golfing with his dad and brother Eric in Tempe:
(We found a $39 round trip flight to Phoenix, so Emily bought it for him for his birthday.)

Here are some pictures from Scott's time serving as Young Men president in Heatherwilde Ward:

Court of Honor with some of his priests:

Before a campout

Turtle pond in Butler Park (can you see the turtles?)
Pedestrian Bridge over Lady Bird Lake
Liz Carpenter Fountain

Doug Sahm Hill
Brunch at Juan in a Million
Don Juan El Taco Grande
Funny thing is, William's itty bitty quesadilla cost more than my giant Taco Grande
Owen's Grinch Party:
Who Hash, Roast Beast, and Who Pudding (with all the trimmings)

Nori made the Grinch cake!

Round Rock Donuts and Play for All Abilities Park:

Check out that donut!

The boys were pirates, but instead of making me walk the plank, they rescued me from drowning.

Lake Pflugerville:

Pizookie
Fun with Anna:

This picture is my favorite. We fit 7 little kids back there. Owen just covered his ears and scowled at Anna while she cried. At first William was intrigued by her, but then he started to tell her to "Be Quiet" repeatedly. Ha ha.
