Fathers and Sons

Dad and Owen went to Fathers and Sons tonight. (Is it just me, or does Owen look a little bit like Michael in this picture?)
Meanwhile, Mom and the girls (and William) went to dinner at Phil's Icehouse. It's very Austin-esque--a burger-and-fries place in a refurbished gas station. The best thing about it is that they have a playground next to their patio so the kids can play before and after dinner.

Random Pics

This is what happens when you have an older brother. (That's a Nemo sticker on his nose.)
William is 6 weeks old! (That was quick.)
Can you tell what's on his head? This kid thinks that underwear is a hat. Yep, potty training is going really well. ;)

When William gets upset, it's usually because he's hungry. When that option isn't available, he likes to go outside. Something about the light and sounds and fresh air usually calms him down for a little bit.
Here is 6-week-old William with the doctor that delivered him, Dr. Hansen-Peterman.

Texas Homeowners?

We had an offer accepted on a home yesterday! Now we just have to cross our fingers that everything goes smoothly with the inspections, appraisal, and financing. If things go according to plan, we will be homeowners (again) by mid-June.

Here are some pictures of the home. It's 3 bed/2.5 bath in Pflugerville (a north Austin suburb). Our favorite feature--aside from the unheard-of-for-Austin low property taxes--is that it's just a short walk to an above-average elementary school. :) It's also just a 5-minute drive from the highly ranked city library, 1 mile from the church, and there are several playgrounds within walking distance.

The girls' prospective bedroom. This is a surprisingly large room, so should we have visitors we would have all the kids bunk together and use this as a guest room.

Can you spot the turtle?
