Our Week (01/29 - 02/04)

This was about an hour before our power went out

Scott went out and cut down some branches that were resting on the electrical wire. (The ice made the branches sag because they were so heavy.)

We had a campout in our living room to stay warm

The grass in our front yard, covered with ice

The tree in our front yard, covered in ice

The tree in or backyard, leaning on the electrical line again, after several of the branches snapped from the extra weight of the ice. 😬

Our old house... Normally the crepe myrtle stands straight up, but the ice makes the branches too heavy

The view from our front door

Here are the fallen/broken branches that we collected from our crepe myrtle trees at the old house

Finally for sale!

Our biggest liability is that our neighbors refuse to clean up their half of the shared driveway. We ended up listing well below market value to compensate. Hopefully the low price will at least garner a lot of interest!

Scott trying to cut down some of the problematic tree limbs with help from our neighbor, Floyd, and moral support from our other neighbor, Russell. (We have really great neighbors.)
