| Monument Hill State Park. The monument is dedicated to a bunch of Texans that were killed by a bunch of Mexicans back in the mid-1800s. If you want to read some interesting history, read about the Black Bean Lottery. |

| Kreische Home (and brewery ruins). This home was built back in the mid-1800s by a German immigrant, so the state maintains it as a historical home and as a tribute to European immigrant settlers. This area was settled by German and Czech immigrants, so we also tried the Czech-inspired kolaches at Weikel's Bakery. (4.7 stars on Google, Nor!) |
