Mt. Playmore

We went here once before with Aunt Sarah, but we got some free coupons from the kids' school so we went with Alex this weekend:

Peek a Boo

Yesterday I was blow drying my hair. I turned around to find this little guy peeking around the corner of his high chair, watching me. I don't know why, but it just melted my heart.

Such a happy kid!

New Braunfels Railroad Museum

Our last stop on the way home was this cool railroad museum. They had lots of really cool model trains running and a bunch of other neat train "stuff" on display. We also got to tour a real engine, dining car, and caboose.

San Antonio Trip

We found out that ASU had a football game against UTSA at the Alamodome this weekend, so we took a spur-of-the-moment trip to San Antonio after work on Friday:
We are seriously spoiled! Scott racked up a bunch of Marriott Rewards points through work. We have enjoyed cashing in on those. :) (The Superman onesie is from Aunt Sherry.)
Scott and Lizzie went to the game and watched the Sun Devils win! If Lizzie looks tired, it's because the game didn't end until after midnight.
Check out these cool Texas-shaped waffles at our hotel.
The Alamo never gets old.
And neither do our visits to Stumpy. Except today it was Stumpy's sister. We have debated between calling her Stumpina or Stumpette.
We went to a Diez y Seis Parade in the barrio (to celebrate Mexico's independence from Spain).
And the kids had their first exposure to Rudy's BBQ.

School Shirts

On Fridays, the kids and teachers are encouraged to wear their school shirts:

Pflugerville Police Department Open House

The police department had an open house today, so Lizzie and Mom went on a date to check it out.
An actual jail cell. Goofy looking cell mate.
Getting her mug shot taken.
On a police motorcycle.
With Officer Roy (the dog).

Dance Class

We signed Heidi up to take a dance class with Chelsea, from our ward. They learn tap and ballet for an hour each week at the rec center:

Brothers

William is clothes-less because he had a diaper blow out at church.
Isn't his facial expression a riot? It reminds me of Allison as a kid.
Owen calls William his "cutie."

Snow Cone Social and Pokemon Go

Yesterday there was a snow cone social at the girls' school:
(Alex is staying with us for the next month or so.)
Afterward we looked for Pokemon. (Emily got a new iPhone this week, so we thought we'd try out the app.)

Who sleeps like this?
